The Recce 110 at Nene

Group: G4 Member Posts: 264, Visits: 1.2K	BP07 PGE, anyone here used to own it / have any background info on any problems it may have had ? I was at a LR Club of Victoria meeting yesterday with the RRS (which was of course the centre of attention :cool: ) and one of the chaps was asking about the importation rigmarole I had to go through. Turns out he's looked online at the Recce 110 at Nene Over~~priced~~land with a view to importing it here. The Utility version wasn't available here apparently and of course with all the kit it's wearing it's very attractive, albeit I'd question the price for vfm, especially once he's spent the extra $$$$$'s to get it ready for compliance here. On another note, they mentioned the 08 Defender that's down in South Australia. Someone I was talking to knows the owner, they're undertaking a bit of a trip with it next year which will see it loaded into a container bound for South Africa before they drive it all the way back to the UK. I'll try and find out the owner's details if they're not already known to the club and see if they'd be up for meeting a few of you nutjobs when they get to the UK ;) BV55 YZE, Fleet No 19 - Thailand 2006 Now registered as YZE 481 in Melbourne, Oztralia.
