Hello all and thanks for having me :)
Unfortunatly I'm not a G4 owner, but I do own a 51 Discovery 2.
Now I'm not trying to make it look like a G4 Discovery, but have just purchased a Lowline SD Roof Rack, the best looking Roof Rack for the Discovery 2.
I would love to get the proper lights and the proper decking for the roof rack and was wondering does anyone know what where originally fitted?
The decking I think was 9mm marine ply, but I'm yet to have that confirmed, as SD don't know for sure as they haven't started to make the racks or produce the decking yet.
The lights I am at a loss with as I never thought I would be able to get a SD roof rack let alone afford one, so I never really payed any attention of your stand at the shows through out the year
I was thinking of going with these lights as a cheap replacement, what does everyone think?

Thanks again for allowing me on to the forum and Thank you in advance for any help or information that you can help me with.

Hi and welcome. There is a section on the site which lists everything that was on each vehicle; D2 is here:
http://www.g4ownersclub.com/Resources/2003/SpecSheets/SPECSHEET2003-Discovery2.PDF
The D2 had three pairs of the WARN light which retail anywhere from £350 at various shops online! There are a couple of used pairs that have been kicking around on eBay at far too much: items 130806131780 and 140889486502 respectively. I'd contact the buyer and ask best price but you'll still need the wiring looms and switches which are expensive on their own!
The floor was marine ply and our Technical Officer Adrian had some made earlier in the year; PM him to see if he's got any left; hope this helps!!

Many Thanks Stu,
I had a look at the spec sheet earlier, but didn't read it properly.
They do look good though and would look fantastic on the wagon, but at that price I'll pass at the moment.
Stu, do you know what diameter they are? because I think replicer ones are going to be the way forward.
Cheers

The bloke that has those two pairs of Warn lights is off his rocker.......they have been on sale on and off for about 9 months.... wants far too much for them...
