Jason, been living in France for 20+ years, Land Rover addict, already have a 110 SW 200tdi replica (not done by me) and have my eye on a LHD G4 110 TD5. My question is how how ever silly it may sound, how do I know it's a real G4 ?(no I don't have the chassis N°) and what's it worth ? The seller seems a sound guy, bought it new but obviously is'nt a Land Rover nut and all he knows is that it's a G4 limited adition . Thanks in advance Jason

a Group: G4 Member Posts: 1.2K, Visits: 6.8K	Hi Jason, Without the VIN it is difficult to say whether it is genuine or not but if he bought from new then most liklely it is. There were G4 Editions sold into most European markets for 2003 and 2004. I have 17 90's and 7 110's in orange listed with their VIN in France. They were also available in black, silver and yellow. If you can get me the last 6 digits of the VIN I can check against those I have listed. A genuine one would be body colour all over (inner wheel arches, floor panels bulkhead etc). Paint code on VIN plate will be either 737 - Zambezi Silver 757 - Borrego Yellow 761 - Tangiers Orange 775 - Java Black They should have as standard: Gloss Black wheel arch eyebrows. Front windscreen Protection Bar. Black Wing Top Protectors. Black Sill Protectors. Black rear wing protectors. G4 Edition Decals on front wing just above door hinge. Boost alloys. 'A' Frame Protection bar. Aircon. Rear bumper / step. Silver centre dash console. Leather / cloth seats. Rear 4 seats. Although I have talked to the seller on the phone he has since pulled the advert off the net and does'nt reply to my e-mails (I requested the vin N°) will give the guy a ring tomorrow § Thanks for your help. Had been towing a trailer/hot air bolloon & passengers around for the last 8 years ! Was'nt a straight panel, seats ripped etc ...... Many thanks for your help all the same ! Cheers Jason
