Hi gang,
As we all know the G4's generally are quite a formidable bit of kit that are mostly comfy and well equipped......
Out of curiosity more than anything else I was wondering what modifications/updates/upgrades we have done to our trucks to make them just they way we want them....
Tigger - has had an engine remap and is about the have a bigger intercooler and silicone hoses......
What's yours had..?
Best Regards
Andi

Not done anything to the ffrr, the D3 had stainless exhaust and high flow cats and had it tweaked to go better as the standard v8 is pretty gutless, then fitted Brembo brakes to make it stop again.
then of course i drive like i stole it , the only way to drive a V8 ,:)

Upgrades!!!! the mere thought of them and i'm waiting for summit else to go wrong! Ah but i suppose replacing the old steel brake pipes with copper ones when they went is technically an upgrade. But otherwise i just been fire fighting, and embers ain't out yet....front prop next on list judging by the rumbling.
It would be nice to spend summit on the ole beast and notice an improvement, not just think Ah is that how it's s'posed to run 'normally'

Confirmed full-on overall of the vehicle mechanical.
It deserves a full overall and complete service. We are talking big bucks, but I think it is worth it...
:Wow:
Can't wait to get it back in a couple of weeks.

Nothing mechanical at this stage. Just a couple of subtle extra stickers for the Sussex 4x4 Response, and fitted a CB and amateur radio, without any holes in the dash!
The CB and radio antennas nicely mounted on the G4 roof rack. Radio antenna utilises best use of ground plane in the middle of the roof.
New Cobra CB and radio securely mounted out of the way on front of driver's seat!
Controls nicely fitted to front console with sticky backed Velcro - no holes!
