At the risk of advisisng what people may know, I notice that in the 2003 section it talks about how all 4 LR vehicle models were used for the challenge. Just so everyone is aware, the original concept of the G4 was to ensure a number of things - it relefcted the 4 wheel drive of the vehicles and the nature of th terrain, it reflected the 4 continents the vehicles would be on and it reflected the 4 models within the range. No one at this time knew there would be a fifth added!
Seciondly, the original name for the Challenge was G4s Challenge and the logo etc was developed with this in mind. 'G' potentially meaning global. However, the logo in use (similiar to the current logo) could be read Gas in certain ways, and thus it was rightly felt that we should drop the 's' which we did, and thus move to G4 Challenge. The name of which adorns your car!
