Hi All, I will soon be in the market for a G4 and cost is steering Myself and Mandy towards a D2 V8 or TD5 also because We have had several and I know how they Tick but, and here is the question? What should I be spending on a really good complete one? or one that needs work to bring back to top speck, doing the work isn't an issues as I will do all myself except any paint work, What realistically is the V8 on Flee bay worth? being it is not complete, I am in no hurry as I have a V8 disco to move on first. like any rare vehicle, buy the nicest you can afford, it will cost you less down the road.
Then again, renovating it, seeking and fitting new gear is part of the fun !

There is another one but that has been on for a while and has the dreaded LPG! The one I highlighted looks in excellent condition and only missing front plaque holder and rear plaque!

Hi, Gas is horrible that would be removed thrown as far as I could get it then start again with another inlet manifold to look wright and run it as Land rover intended, Petrol, The only thing with the one that the garage has for sale theres no winch etc so that wouldn't be cheap to replace, which is why I asked what should one like that be worth against a good complete one, I still haven't heard how much the seller of the other disco wants for it, could be away for the bank hol, I'm in no hurry for one need to go to Peterbourgh LRO, then clean up My disco for sale first anyway, Nigel
