Yes I agree it is a shame.

On a forum that I was involved with I always sent a Happy Birthday message which in turn reminded people that the forum existed, I'm not sure if this happens on here, but I think it's worthwhile doing.

Fully agreed, i think most forum software's, where this info is entered in the profile, automatically sends a congratulations e-mail ?? :unsure:
