Group: Past Forum Member Posts: 23, Visits: 77	Has anybody had a bloototh kit fitted through their local delaership? If so was it nearly £700? I have tried the Parrot option but with the labout to fit it the cost is not as bad but still £300-400 which is a lot for an after market option. Hope somebody can help.. Group: G4 Member Posts: 479, Visits: 2.6K	As a D3 owner, I suggest you have a browse on Disco3.co.uk - it's also free to register, and there is a huge amount of info on there - in fact mine is in for warranty work with Jeremy at the momnet, most of the problems have TSB's that I picked up from the forum. Anyway the opinion on there is the dealer fit bluetooth is not worth it, either have a factory fit or a parrot - not that I know which model parrot to go for though! Group: Forum Member Posts: 286, Visits: 1.5K	The retro fit is a waste of money. We've done a couple but wouldnt recommend it. The Parrot is a nice cost effective solution, cant remember the model we fit but its the cheaper one.

Granted a lot easier as it had a simple head unit, I just bought an after market headunit with bluetooth phone - £150 10 minutes to fit. Probably not possible if the D3 has sat nav etc, but might be worth looking at. In my wifes D3 we had the after market bluetooth kit fitted. Cost circa £500 and not really worth it. I think I have decided to go for an aftermarket bluetooth as it is a neat fit works through the speakers and still enables me to charge the phone through the cig lighter and finally costs £200 all in.
