2003 Defender Safety Devices Roofrack

Group: G4 Member Posts: 1.1K, Visits: 22K	Just wondering if anybody has got some close up pictures of the safety devices roofrack, in particular the area top and bottom where the access ladder joins? I have acquired the correct ladder but it seems as if there was originally some kind of bracket on the top, to attach the ladder, as someone has ground off something at the top. The bottom seems to bolt onto the rear crossmember, but I seem to have lost one of the bolts. Anyone know the correct size? I have now attached a ladder that appears to be nearly correct, but I am still trying to locate an actual safety devices ladder, as below: As you can see, this ladder was attached via some kind of welded bracket on the top, which meant it went over the original land rover light guards (would be interesting when it came to change a bulb!!) Any images of another rack would be greatly appreciated, especially one on someone's current defender (please e-mail these to me)! Also, does anyone know how the plaque was attached to the roofrack? The rack I have doesn't have any bracket or holes where it would have been attached, so I am presuming that it was simply "stuck" on?? They were pop riveted onto the rack, the rear with normally just one central rivet into a hole drilled in a rack upright.
