D3 2004 chassis marking "Hinckley"

Group: G4 Club Member Posts: 9, Visits: 113	Hi all, Anyone have any ideas why our 2004 Discovery 3 G4 has "Hinckley" hand-written on the chassis? The writing is on both sides, underneath where the driver/passenger doors would be. It's normally hidden under the body, and probably many layers of underseal (and mud) - Thanks!
