Fitting a roof tent to a D3

Group: G4 Member Posts: 9, Visits: 68	Hi has anyone fitted a soft roof tent to one of the 2008 D3s? If you have mounted one of these have you used the cross rails or added raised mounting points from the floor (something like a FrontRunner tent mount). Is it possible to get and fit a second sliding cross rail? I've got a Tuff Trek TT02 1.4 and I'd be looking to have it open out over the side, rather than the back - any problems with that? Has it had any significant effect on the handling? Many thanks for any thoughts or advice you can offer.
