Discovery 2 winch mount help

P Group: Forum Member Posts: 4, Visits: 20	After a few years of searching i finally found a winch tray for my discovery 2 G4 event vehicle :-). When i purchased the car years ago, it was missing. The tray got a some fresh paint and can now be fitted onto the car. Using the original installation manual for some guidelines we're almost there. But not quite. I used the existing holes from the previous tray for fitment. The brackets do fit, but when installing the tray itself it doesn't fit with the bumper. - Do i need to cut the bumper to make it fit (on the location where the license plate normally fits)? - Is there someone how has a photo from original? I'm now remaking the side brackets to make them few centimeters longer, so i don't have to cut the bumper. Any advice would be great! Thanks! Pascal

Group: Administrators Posts: 824, Visits: 17K	Hi Pascal It looks to me that is not the correct tray. Its too wide. Here are all my parts i took off to be re-powder coated. And you can see the kick back to the bumber here. Might be worth double checking what you have picked up? As it looks much deeper than mine. Here is all my parts when i took them of for a re powder coat. And you can see here the kick back to the bumper.
