BT52OVH has obviously been to some foreign climes other than Australia judging by the interior adornments. Probably Morrocco or somewhere similar. Only has original Mantec 9.5Ti bumper fitted and black chequer plate, also Safari snorkle, Brownchurch roofrack too.

you might have been lucky to spot the off road company who use 90's painted in orange with a G4 plaque on your way through windermere, we passed one last year and his jaw dropped when we waved

Thanks for the publicity
I've decided to upgrade the Brownchurch rack with a new one from Lakeland Land Rover, awaiting delivery of it... And all 4 Warn SDB-160HB's are ready to be fitted. The original winching kit has gone on hold, so I'll extend the bumper brackets to fit my XD9000i in front of the air con.
Slowly-slowly, restorie-landie!!
You're right about Morocco... 3 times to date and booked onto a recce trip into Senegal next spring, fancy coming along? It's a 4 week trip starting on April 17th... ;)
Got some up to date maps of the Lake District so can plot a few routes for your visit in Aug.
Best regards...

The only shipping would be across the Channel and Straights of Gibraltar I'm afraid... It's a long old drive through Europe, I know, perhaps the Portsmouth-Bilbao/Santander ferry would be a better option, (definately for the return journey).
As you probably know Emon, it is much easier to cover many miles in convoy with friends... Lets hope we get some interest and I hope to have restored my 110 completely by then. ;)
Best regards... Adam
Once the summer season is over, I will see what the real interest in the club is. It would be very exciting to get a group of G4s in convoy going down to Africa. I would be looking to put an itenary together that would allow all vehicle types to go. Perhaps we can discuss ideas together some time in the near future.
Last time I drove down France and Spain to Algeciras, it was a long drive, but of course if you are in a RRS then it is different matter. :P Regards,Emon
