on nights this weekend, last night, well this morning actually got a call to Commonside, Mitcham. Turned the corner into Chesnut Av. and out of the blue lights appeared a very snow covered G4 Freelander BG52 VGV. She would have made a good shot for the Xmas vehicle pics. Didn't get time to take for pic though.
Its the first time I've ever seen a G4 Freelander up close, and was really impressed, even just as a fleeting look. Fully spec'd, although didn't notice a winch, do they have winches? Otherwise with all the branding and logos. Looked really cool.
Any one know who might own this one? Do we have any members in the Croydon area?
Serched through our site, and BG52 VGV hasn't made an appearance yet.

Are you sure it was BG52VGV. I can find no record of this one. The nearest is BG52VZV this is the only BG Freelander 1. According to the records it was donated to the Land Rover Museum at some point.
oops, thats the down side of nights, you start forgeting what day of the week it is. My mistake it was BG52 VZV, I think I was blurring our reg VGY with that one . If I get back over that way I'l try and get a pic. Any more info? I wonder how it escaped te museum?
