Disco 2 G4 write off value

Group: Forum Member Posts: 29, Visits: 111	It’s a sad day but after 13 years of ownership my showroom spec Tangiers orange Discovery 2 G4 has been written off by insurance after a rear end shunt... was an awesome car... However, as it wasn’t my fault the other parties insurance are paying out... trouble is they will only pay to what Glass’ guide says is book value and we all know they are worth more. They won’t budge though... Has anyone else experienced this and managed to get a true world fair value that would let me by a like for like replacement, if I could ever find one? Thoughts?

I always have mine on agreed valuation TBH...usually costs about 15quid on top of the premium but worth it I reckon. Group: Forum Member Posts: 29, Visits: 111	Sadly it’s not a claim through my insurance... all being dealt with by the 3rd parties insurance... I will go back and push for it to be repaired but I suspect they won’t budge... I’m consideting buying it back rather than lettting it be crushed...
