Group: Past Forum Member Posts: 23, Visits: 77	I have been driving a RRS dieosel for the last year or so and averaged 25+ to the gallon whilst driving it in town,down lanes etc... I have only covered 100 miles since picking it up but I have driven it very carefully and not yet put my foot down at all and my average MPG is 16,\is this normal? Group: G4 Member Posts: 479, Visits: 2.6K	Over the last 2200 I have averaged 17.4 on the trip computer, but on spot fills I get about 23-24 on a run (65 ish, on cruise on the motorway) down to about 14 on the 3 mile journey to work. Group: Forum Member Posts: 286, Visits: 1.5K	Our old demo V8 D3 (I prey no one here ever has the misfortune of buying it, we didnt retail it, it was that abused!) would use £10 getting from Tring to Wooburn Green. I dont think it ever did more than an indicated 14mpg in the time we ran it. That was a normal Disco with out the rack or any other bits.
