Tow bar electrics G4 RR

Group: Forum Member Posts: 101, Visits: 576	I have just fitted authentic towbar electrics to my G4, followed all the installation notes and on reconnecting the battery all systems are go less the remote control on the key fob (doors open/close). On phoning LR in York they told me it would cost £86 :angry: to reprogram the car to tell it about tow bar electrics and thus why key fob isn't working! Can this be right? :crazy: Also worth a note is that my boot release is still functioning normally! Would welcome any ideas and suggestions. I will try caravan on it this afternoon and report back findings. Dam the complicated wiring !!!
